Revelation 19:1
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
The “Tiger Roar” is a unmistakable phenomenal occurrence heard by television viewers and patrons whenever Tiger Woods performs a magical feat. The usually relatively subdued golf viewer is awoken by a yells, screams, and shouts from hundreds of yards away. When Tiger is in the field, the viewer and spectator knows exactly what just happened without actually seeing or realizing what exactly occurred. This “roar” is a unique reaction to Tiger making a spectacular shot.
One day as a resident of heaven, we will be accustomed to hearing the shouts of glory. We won’t have to ask or wonder what happened. When good finally and forever overtakes evil on the Earth in one final battle, heaven will erupt in her full glory recognizing our Lord in all His power.
Heaven rejoices whenever a saint departs his or her earthly existence and is met with the Savior. Another level of commotion will be experienced when the church is raptured as the bride of Christ. Heaven will be roaring with excitement when the church is finally joined with Christ in heaven. We will know exactly what this elation is from when we are in the eternal presence of our Lord and Savior. It is then we will fully and totally comprehend our eternal salvation and sanctification. It is then when we will truly realize we will never be separated from our Lord and Savior.
The period of tribulation will be culminated by the ultimate and final defeat of evil. All of the forces opposing Christ will be eliminated in one final battle. All of heaven will be interested spectators viewing this battle from above. We each will be able to grasp the force of what we each dealt with during our time on Earth. Our spiritual victories during our lifetime will be minuscule in comparison to the previously unrealized victories from these forces unseen. We were shielded and protected from the full arsenal of this terror by our Lord.
We are appreciative and glory in our salvation, but our heartbreaks and the presence of sin mute our rejoicing here on Earth. One day our sufferings will be worth it all. Are you ready for that day? The degree of glory in heaven marches the intensity of torment in Hell. Only those who have placed faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior will experience this triumph. Only Holy Spirit baptized believers will be able to shout “hallelujah” at His appearing.
