2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
As we struggle through the doldrums of winter, we look forward to those long sunny summer days ahead when we can hit the course with frequency. We find ourselves making temporary putting greens on the living room rug, looking at our full swing form in the bathroom mirror, and practicing our grip on the snow shovel which has temporary residence outside of our front doors. Just as we cannot allow the “winter break” to crumble our perfected swing from last fall, we cannot allow our testimony for Christ suffer from a bad season in our lives. We must persevere and be a witness for Christ no matter the season, no matter the situation of life, and no matter the audience. It should be our daily prayer to increase our faith and boldness while providing us opportunities to spread the gospel in our current “climate.”
